Software Developer - POS Solution

We are seeking an enthusiastic Software Developer to join our remote team based in Europe. In this role, you will work on our POS system, a web solution with a fully customizable User Interface that runs in SaaS or on-premises environments. Our POS system is a key component of the LS Central solution, with over 280,000 installations in over 100,000 retail and hospitality locations worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the POS solution using TypeScript and modern web development frameworks
  • Participate in team discussions with openness and honesty
  • Ensure the delivery of quality software for LS Retail solutions
  • Share ideas and contribute to the design and programming of the solution
  • Become an expert in our platforms, technical frameworks, and tools, and contribute to their improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • Familiarity with web service communications (HTTP, RESTful, JSON, caching)
  • Knowledge of relational database systems (SQL, keys/indexing, normalization)
  • Experience with an OOP language, such as C#
  • Understanding of SOLID Principles and Design Patterns
  • Creativity in developing technical solutions while considering trade-offs
  • Experience with automated testing and development tools is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with work processes like Scrum is a plus
